Goldenrod Launches
Yay! I LOVE release day over at Traci Reed Designs and this month is extra exciting! September release can only mean one thing ... October Daily products!!!
This year Traci has opted for a more autumnal collection (but of course has added in some spooky icons and sentiments for capturing Halloween memories later in the month.)
It is still not very autumnal here in the UK so rather than showcasing those gorgeous autumn motifs, I opted to work with the Halloween colours and icons to capture the story of visiting the Museum of Witchcraft while we were on holiday in Cornwall.
Goldenrod is going to be one of my key collections for my October Daily mini album this year. I'm looking forward to working with the soft colours and sweet autumn sentiments. Of course I am also looking forward to mixing in some witchy icons and will be using Traci's printable "Hocus Pocus" as well as some traditional paper products for that.
I'll be sharing that project on Instagram as October moves forwards so keep an eye out there or on the main page feed for that.
I'm really happy with how this one turned out also. Working on a white cardstock background is one of my favourite things to do when I want to showcase diecuts. I added a little bit of a grungy look with some ink splatters at the last minute and I'm glad I did.
